Agora Studios, Glasgow

September 2026

Agora is an intersectional feminist space located in Glasgow which hosts exhibitions, workshops and events. Each month, Agora curates an open call for a month long group exhibition featuring local and international artists responding to a theme. The theme of September’s exhibition is ‘Flatmates’. Bad flatmates, good flatmates, romantic flatmates, messy flatmates, flatmates you'd cross the street to avoid, flatmates you'd sell an arm to live with again.

What is it about living with someone that creates such a specific bond that cannot be replicated in any other way?

My piece Sesh Haus is a playful, nostalgic celebration of friendship, shared memories and the chaotic joy of finding your feet in London. Taken from a birthday card for my flatmate of two years and lifelong best friend, the piece captures a defining chapter of post-university life, whilst we navigated adulthood, building a home and making memories together.

Combining my own photography with carefully curated vintage imagery, this handmade collage brings together personal moments and found visuals to create a vibrant, uplifting composition. Both sentimental and irreverent, Sesh Haus is a love letter to the friendships that carry us through life’s funniest, messiest and most formative years.
